Interoperability with Standards
The HL7® FHIR® standard was developed by HL7® International as its latest standard from 2013 onwards and was published in version R4 in 2018 and version R5 in 2023. The first fully normative release, R6, is scheduled for publication in 2027.
However, it is not only the format that is important; the semantics – or, in other words, the code systems – also form the clinical content.
In this area, we offer customised courses and workshops for companies to provide an insight into modern standards. We also address individual questions and specific issues.
Introducing HL7
Since its founding in 1987, HL7 International has developed and published numerous standards, making a significant contribution to the international standardisation of data exchange in healthcare.
Our introduction offers insights into the structure of both the international and national HL7 organisations.
Of course, we also discuss the individual standards and highlight the differences between them.
Lessons
(higher technical colleges)
To advance digital health and promote the adoption of recognised international and national standards, it’s essential to provide input at the educational level as well.
For this reason, we are also contributing and investing our knowledge in this area and have already given various guest lectures (e.g. at the Higher Technical College for Medical Technology in Sarnen).
Introducing EPR
The ‘Electronic Patient Record’, or EPR for short, is based on the Swiss Federal Electronic Patient Record Act (EPDG), a set of regulations, specifications and standards. Understanding this requires a comprehensive examination of the topic and its details. In connection with the work carried out for our customers, we have developed an ‘EPR Introduction’ programme.
